Having been in care, to being a young offender, I have walked the very path that many young offenders walk.

I went on to work in the field of Social Care for over 20 years providing housing and support services in the Statutory, Voluntary and Private Sectors. I have worked with clients as diverse as Heavy Drinkers, Street Homeless, Asylum Seekers, Mental Health, Young Offenders (particularly gang related) and High risk adult offenders.

But that’s just part of the story. I have developed businesses that have thrived and crashed! With me crashing too.

However I have also developed strategies to rise from that adversity and I know that these interventions and workshops work.

Motivation4Change was developed out of my insight into the challenges people face breaking the cycle of offending and my knowledge the current provision.
