Paul:

As someone who has experienced the extremes of life’s challenges and the high’s of life’s blessings, I have a unique story to share that can and does inspire.

From reaching the heights of my dreams as the first ever black player for Chelsea Football Club, and all the fame and wealth that brings to falling flat on my face. However it’s not how you fall, it’s how you get up that matters!

And I have got back up with my head held high. Fame and Money can come and go but being able to contribute to making a positive difference in the lives of others is what now motivates me. I have been providing motivational workshops in schools and youth centres for a while now and recognise there’s a group that go from being outgoing and ambitious in school to negative mindsets soon after, or in some cases even during those years.

I have a mission to challenge gang culture. I am driven to discourage criminality.

By doing this I can stop the cycle of wasted lives, family breakdown and mental anguish.

Motivation4Change gives me the platform to do this.
